We're baaaaaaaaaack!

And it's about time.  These past few months have been nothing but a whirlwind of activity, fun and sheer chaos.  We're here, in Seattle, and settled!!!!  And so now it's time to get back to blogging.  :)

Since mid-May Erik and I have spent 6 weeks living in separate states, celebrated our 8 year wedding anniversary, rejoiced in my brother's beautiful wedding to sweet Super Kit, rocked Erik's graduation from residency and trekked it cross-country to find our home in Seattle.  Oh, and then move in.  I cannot possibly post pictures from all of our adventures, but I am going to post A TON since we arrived here at the beginning of July.

Iris just started preschool this past week (holy moly!) and loves every second of it.  My sweet 3 year old is sooo sweet, and surprising us daily with the things she says, observes, and the jokes that she's making.  Eve is quickly becoming a two-year-old (birthday in a few weeks!), and has moved into a toddler bed, dropped the pacifiers and is working on some potty training.  Erik is loving his new position at UW, and while I think the schedule has taken some getting used to on his end, I'M LOVING IT!  He's home almost every night for dinner, and has almost every single weekend off!!!!  He continues to travel a lot for his various board posts and conferences, but it's definitely a step in the right direction for our home life!  The girls and I have been soaking up the summer (and the lack of rain!) and playing at various beaches, hiking in the woods, swimming in the baby pool and just having fun in general.  We even got a visit from my sis and her kiddos in July!

And perhaps the biggest news of all is that Erik and I are happy to announce a pregnancy.  :)  And not just any pregnancy, a TWIN pregnancy!  That's right folks, in addition to everything else that's going on, we found out that we're expecting twins in Feb-March.  4 kids in under 4 years?  Oh yes, I'm sure I'll go gray...but I guarantee I'll love every second of it.  :)
