Whew!!!  What a MOVE!

I think we can all say the past few weeks have been hectic.  Beth and I found a house in Seattle (see below!), left our house in Iowa (see belower!), and Beth and the kids moved back to Tulsa for a few weeks.

I think we are all grateful for the help of our wonderful families - Opa and Nana for graciously taking the dogs, and Ken and Ann for helping with the move and graciously taking everyone else!

I'm living the bachelor life in Iowa City now (see belowest!).  My bucket of cheetos will keep me company.  Here's some pictures to satiate your appetite for the Vanderlife.  You can see the move wasn't without some "sacrifices", but in the end we will persevere.  In Seattle they tell us there is rain.  Where there's rain, there's rainbows.  And we love rainbows.  Hugs to all!

April Madness? April/May Madness? Mommy's impending madness?

The past month or so has been fast and furious around the Vlip household.  We've been gearing up for the big move to the NW and trying to figure out all the details involved.  Right now, we're feeling like we've got most things nailed down (except of course, where we're going to live when we get there...), and we have two weeks to pack this place up before we close on the house.  YIKES!

We're going to have roughly 6 weeks where Erik will be living in Iowa City until his graduation, and the girls and I will be trekking to Oklahoma to take advantage of grandparents and pool memberships.  Erik's traveling again this week, but next week?  We're gonna soak him up!!!!!  (and maybe make him pack a few boxes...)  Everything is better when he's here.  Especially fort building.
