Groundhog day....again. :)

6 more weeks of winter? If the weather stays the way it has been, then we say BRING IT!!!!

Eve's 4 molars are now in, and the 2 lower incisors have points through the gums, with the top 2 on their way. When this baby decides to get teeth, she's serious about it! She's also starting to walk a little bit more for a purpose rather than just a game - she realized she can carry her blankie with her instead of the "crawl-trip-drag" method. Maybe by the time she's 3....

Eve also had her 15 month checkup this past week and we confirmed that she is, indeed, perfect. Albeit rather short. On all of the growth charts she was right about the 50th percentile, but for height...well? The luck of the Joneses is with this one. She landed on the 3rd percentile line. Erik quickly said the measurement could have easily been off a few centimeters and did some math, only to discover that if we were still 3 or so cm off, she could bump up to the 5th percentile. So we'll either have a petite Eve or a massive growth spurt in the future. :)

Iris is doing great, hilarious as ever, and still telling random strangers at the Grocery Store that her name is "Cinderella". She makes up ridiculous songs about whatever she's doing, is fiercely dedicated to her "arts and crafts time", and discovered last night that Roscoe will let her apply Chapstick to him. All in all, pretty good.

The rest of the VanderFam is hanging in there. We're gearing up to put the house on the market (so please keep your fingers crossed) and I'm working on the nonstop list of to-do's to get that accomplished and getting the wheels in motion for the big move. Erik's off and running on another inpatient month (read - long hours) and two trips away this month. And at some point in April, we or I, will be off to house hunt in Seattle.
