So this might be the LARGEST blog post ever. It's been a few weeks since I've posted and in that time Erik and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary in Hawaii -uh-maze-ing - and both of the girls have changed so much (at least to us!). So let me prepare you for a picture overload.
First, Hawaii was perfect. Beautiful, serene, exciting and refreshing. We spent 5 days in Honolulu, 4 in Maui and 2 on a tiny island off its coast called Molokai. (I heard someone describe it as "0 stop lights, 1 hotel, 12 shops and 49 things to do".) It was an amazing trip full of beach time, helicopter rides, off-roading in rented Jeeps, bike rides, volcanoes and more. If you want more details or pictures - just let us know!
The girls are growing like proverbial weeds. Iris has taken a big step into the world of a two year old by having some big time accidents lately. First, she bit through her lip, which required an ER visit and some high tech super glue. She has since tripped and broken off a baby toenail, gotten silver dollar sized bruises on both knees with a fall in the garage, and last night - bit a good way into her tongue with a fall. Good stuff. On the flip side, she's never been funnier and is a constant source of giggles and love to us. Eve, is getting BIG. She's gone through a major growth spurt or two and is now eating us out of house and home. No joke. She usually will only have 2 bottles a day, but eats an unreal amount of food. (And remember, we did have Iris first - we have a good comparison on this one!) She's also ALMOST about to crawl and pulls and pushes herself everywhere. And in the past few days we've come to notice that teeth are not far on the horizon. Talk about some overachieving girls!

Just let Gran and Poppy come and your children change forever! But really, Gran taught Iris to always use a spoon.
And of course, any time I've gotten out the camera she looks at it and says "Cheese Gran!" :)
I love it! I couldn't see the videos at work and they were so much fun to watch! I love Erik's sinister laugh on the last one. I'm so glad you guys are having so much fun!
