So we've had a really good week. Everything seems to be perking up outside and I actually saw some buds on a tree yesterday! We've been playing hard AND working hard. Eve is completely into food these days and has been working HARD at putting on some chub. Yesterday at her 6 month well child check she measured 26 inches and weighed in at 16 lb 3 oz! Iris measured 25 inches at 6 months - but pick up your chins people - weighed almost two full pounds more than Eve at 6 months. While the rolls are coming on, they're nothing like the thunder thighs of yore...
Iris has been working HARD at potty training, and with some serious incentives (and yes, we're talking food here) has picked up some speed. Yesterday we kept dry pants all day long - including a run for it at Lowe's. We were in the plant section at the time, and if you know Lowe's, that's about as far as you can possibly get from the bathrooms. I'm sure we'll hit plenty more snags in the months to come, but we started hitting it harder right after her birthday and I'm finally feeling like we're on the right track.
Here are some million or so pics from this past week or so!
(and a special shout-out to Hunkle Zac...we're so incredibly happy and warm and fuzzy to know you're doing so much better.)

Great new pictures! I hadn't looked in a while - and they they were! Are we really supposed to get used to the idea that Iris might become a grown-up little girl? That's a hard pill to swallow. Eve looks totally happy and carefree.
