Oh me oh my have we had a wonderful few days! Sprout officially turned two years old onThursday - a milestone for all of us for sure. We celebrated at home Thursday, with candle-lit pancakes, a trip to the indoor playground and some amazing presents from friends and family. Friday was the "real" party, and Erik and I headed to school with a cake, hats and some fun favors to celebrate with all of her classmates. Iris had so much fun being the star! THEN, last night our friends Ben, Becky and Becky #2came over with some more presents AND a cookie cake! (Hey BeckShep! I want pics!) I don't know about Iris, but I want a nap!

I received a wonderful surprise today - Zac's family was over for lunch and I subjected them to full-TV-screen viewing of the blog because I couldn't help but show off the pics of my precious nieces at the beach... when to my delight I also go to show off AWESOME pics of Iris's Birthday! Oh joy! LOVE the pic with baby sock giraffe by her side. Joy, joy, joy!
What happy, wonderful pictures of the Big Event. Wish we could have been there, but there's nothing better than a room full of kids when you are the star! Eve, little dear, appeared to be a content, accommodating bystander. Looking forward to more pictures and videos.
