We're still here!

I realize it's been a few weeks since my last blog posting, but we have been BUSY. First, we traveled back to Oklahoma to celebrate Aunt Lulu's graduation from law school. Can't believe she's finished already (although I'm sure it went a little slower for her...) and we're so happy for her and Hunkle Zac.

Then, Iris and I stayed in Tulsa to visit grandparents while Erik made the trek back to Iowa to have a very busy work week. Sprout and I enjoyed some really nice weather, some wonderful grandparents and even a trip to the Quick Care clinic for some antibiotics for another ear infection. (We're set to have the surgery to put in tubes on June 18. This was #6 in 6 months. Hopefully they'll make a big difference - Mom and Dad are nervous!)

Then, Erik made the drive back to Tulsa Friday night and he and I left Saturday for an anniversary celebration in Alaska! We were gone for a week and had an AMAZING time. We have so many pictures to share! (I just need to find time to sit down and upload them all!) Iris stayed in Tulsa and all of the grandparents did some "Sprout sharing" for the week. From all reports, I honestly don't know who had more fun.

The three of us made it back to Iowa City the night before Memorial Day and it's been a whirlwind ever since. Getting back into the swing of things and just getting caught up on things like yard work seemed to take that entire next week. I was sick over the weekend, and now I'm gearing up for a big event at work which happens this weekend...which brings us up to now!

So yes. I need to post pictures. Of Sprout & Grandparents and also of Alaska. At some point, I will try to find the time. In the mean time, enjoy the spaghetti. Iris sure did! :)
