We've had a wonderful time this past week enjoying some bright sunshine and a snot-free kid. We've had fun in the park, in the tub playing with letters (and being branded with a V), loading and unloading the dishwasher and just being giggly.
We had a beautiful Easter - went to church, played with baskets, hunted eggs, took naps - and then Iris found some snot and a fever in the evening. We took her for her 1 year old checkup Monday morning, and besides being just perfect, little chunkers has another ear infection. :( Seems like every time we get rid of one, we get another! But the rest of the appointment went well and Iris now weighs 22 pounds and is 28.5 inches tall! Within the midrange of all the charts, so we're just puttering right along.
OH! And since the weather has been nicer and we've been able to sport some skirts, Iris has figured out how to crawl in them so that her knees don't get caught up in the hem. It's pretty reminiscent of her early elephant walk and pretty hilarious!
