So it seems that these days I'm a little fewer and farther between with my blog postings, but life has a way of moving by quickly (and I'm not sure that anyone is really noticing anyway....) We can't believe it's February!
We've had a busy and fun couple of weeks, and Iris has been nothing but smiles lately. She enjoyed spending this past weekend with Nana and Opa, who graciously came up from Tulsa to spend some time with her so that Erik and I could have our first weekend getaway child-free! I don't know who had more fun, us or the Vlip Sr.'s, but it's clear that everyone had a great time!
Oh, and check out the "activity wall" in our living room! Now, we not only have a barrier against Iris falling through the banister rails (it's shocking that she would fit, I know...but it's true...), but we have a full-fledged wall-o-fun.

And so is great auntie ann. I am a frequent viewer. I love to check out how much the lovely Iris has grown and changed. I can't believe that it is almost one year. I know that you all think of it as just 10 months, but time is flying by. Love to you all!
That picture with Yeti in the background is great. Every time I look at it, for a split second I think, "How did Henry make it up there to Iowa?!?" They kind of look the same! Unfortunately Henry is growing up fast and his big boy hair is a darker, so they won't look similar for long!
