So it may be August for another day or so, but it's felt like Fall here for the past week! We've been enjoying 70 degree days and nice, cool evenings. Iris and I have found some new hiking trails around a lake, and have been having some good Mommy & Me time...and eating the carrier time. Iris has also moved on in the culinary world, and is LOVING sweet potato!!! I would have taken a picture of her eating it, but uh, by the time I was able to set down the spoon it was all gone. Shocker. My sweet baby is now weighing in at about 16 pounds. YIKES! I guess we've officially entered the "baby food" realm, and I'm making batches of all sorts of goodies for the freezer. Chubbers likes to eat!!!!

Great way to start Monday morning! Good to see that Iris has lunch with Daddy at the office as well as (apparently) 'round the clock at home. Just kidding. Now's the time to have all those cute little pinchable rolls. They'll be gone before you know it.
Still having fun at Nana's - going back Thurs for more. Don't worry - nothing else is coming to Tulsa! Would you like a 1950s broken baby food plate that has a heater built in?
There was a book written about the Hiphopopotamus? Sweet!
