Holy Cow Iris is 6 weeks old today!!! I know I sound like a broken record...but I just can't believe how quickly the time is flying!
So much has happened in the last week and a half or so. Iris is now smiling in response to things (and melting our hearts every single time), she's now reaching for things and actually grabbing them, she's cooing, and she's taking the occasional bottle of breast milk from Daddy. The one negative is that Iris has learned how to pull her own hair. That one is not fun.
And while she's technically in the 72nd percentile for weight she's blowing my mind by weighing in at 10 pounds 3 ounces! I say she's got a twinkie in each cheek, but my Dad probably said it correctly when he said that she could be in the next Macy's Thanksgiving parade. Just need to tie a string around her middle to hang on to! :)
Her favorite tune of the week is the Beverly Hillbillies (I know...), and her favorite thing to say is "Ah-goo", which is ironic since the video I'm attaching has her just saying "Ahhh".

Just in time! We're headed out to Dallas and Duke, hoping to show these pictures off to lots of people. Don't know what path we'll take coming home, but we'll keep you posted.
Baby Flower has Sweet Cheeks. That goes with my already wonderful girls - Buttercup and Sweet Pea.
I LOVE IT!! The smiles are great! I have to say the Tweety outfit was always one of my favorites and it looks just as cute on Iris! I love seeing her in my girls' clothes because it makes me remember back to when mine were that little (and makes me think - wow what porkers I have!) I love checking in on the precious flower every week! Miss you!
